Hypersensitivity

In a a laboratory investigation involving a carefully chosen human volunteer, after exhaustive clinical testing excluding the possibility that any recognized disease could account for the observed reaction of the volunteer to the controlled application of electromagnetic energy, Marino and co-workers concluded that the volunteer suffered from a novel neurological syndrome, electromagnetic hypersensitivity.

Hypersensitivity

Marino explained the reasons for the failure of industry studies to confirm the existence of the syndrome.

Marino and co-workers showed that side-effects associated with a commercial product used to treat osteoarthritic pain were caused by chemical hypersensitivity to a contaminant in the product.
